Dear Miami International Business Community,
As COVID-19 spreads—and is now officially a pandemic—we are taking additional safety measures to protect our employees and community. We will temporarily close our offices at the end of business on Monday, March 16, 2020. All of our employees will be working from home.
To minimize the health and safety risk to our customers and employees and prevent the further contraction and spread of the Coronavirus, all face-to-face events and meetings scheduled between now to March 27th have been canceled or switched to conference calls wherever possible. We have also canceled non-essential travel. The health and well-being of our employees, customers, partners and colleagues is our number one priority and working remotely for a time seems to be the smartest way to protect everyone’s well-being. We ask for understanding and patience and will reassess and post an update on March 27, 2020.
As the situation continues to unfold, it is important to understand the facts about COVID-19 and to rely on credible sources of information. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Florida Department of Health as well as Miami Dade County are good resources for updates and answers to questions.
If your business has been impacted by COVID-19, we encourage you to reach out to the Small Business Administration as well as the Florida Small Business Development Centers (SBDC). Additional helpful links are as follows:
